Chiefs and Seahawks battle to a tie in preseason finale

The Kansas City Chiefs faced the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium on August 28 for the preseason finale. The game was low-scoring, with Kansas City starters making a brief appearance. Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier struggled at times, tossing an interception. Emmitt Johnson and Brashard Smith both had strong performances, with Smith leading in rushing. R Mason Thomas stood out on defense, recording a sack and a forced fumble. The high number of penalties reflected both teams' urgency to impress coaching staff before roster cuts.
