Chiefs and Wanya Morris discuss potential trade options

Summary

The Kansas City Chiefs are exploring trade options for offensive tackle Wanya Morris as mandatory minicamp continues. Morris, a third-round draft pick in 2023, has struggled for playing time and seeks a larger role with another team. Currently, the Chiefs have a competitive situation at right tackle with veterans Jaylon Moore and Esa Pole vying for the starting position after the release of Jawaan Taylor. Morris has made 16 starts in three seasons but suffered a knee injury in 2025, impacting his opportunities. The Chiefs are working to address their depth at tackle while accommodating Morris's desire for more playing time.
