Chiefs explore trade options for Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux

Summary

The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly interested in acquiring Kayvon Thibodeaux from the New York Giants. ESPN suggests that a 2027 fourth-round pick could be offered for the edge rusher, who finished the 2025 season with 2.5 sacks and 25 tackles before being placed on injured reserve. This potential trade aligns with the Chiefs' strategy of acquiring young pass rushers, following recent drafts where they selected Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Ashton Gilotte. The decision could hinge on the needs identified by defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
