The Kansas City Chiefs have placed tight end John Michael Gyllenborg and defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott on the Active/Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list as they report to training camp. Gyllenborg is dealing with a knee sprain, while Norman-Lott continues his recovery from an ACL tear suffered during last season. Head coach Andy Reid expressed optimism about Norman-Lott's return during camp, while other injured players, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Rashee Rice, have been cleared to participate. The team does not need to create roster openings for players on the PUP list, and they can be activated when cleared to practice.
