Chiefs revert to Arrowhead Stadium name ahead of 2026 season

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that their home venue will be officially known as Arrowhead Stadium once again, effective immediately. The change ends the use of GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, a name adopted in 2021 through a naming rights agreement. GEHA will maintain its partnership with the franchise, including initiatives that support service members. Arrowhead Stadium, which has been a prominent venue since its opening in 1972, is preparing for the Chiefs' 2026 season, beginning on September 14 against the Denver Broncos. The team plans to move to a new stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, after their current lease expires in 2031.
