Children can learn football skills in Lafayette program starting September

Children ages 4 and 5 can register for the Sporties for Shorties flag football program at the McAllister Center in Lafayette, starting on September 9. Designed to introduce young children to basic football skills, the program includes drills for throwing, receiving, and handoffs. Participants will meet on September 9, 14, 16, and 21, culminating in a live game where each child receives a team jersey. The registration fee is $30 per child, with additional details available through the City of Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department.
