China's Asian Games cricket campaign ends as quarter-final with Bangladesh is abandoned

Summary

China's women's cricket team faced a disappointing end to their Asian Games campaign as their quarter-final against Bangladesh was abandoned due to a wet outfield. Persistent rain at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Aichi prefecture, resulted in the match being called off without a ball being bowled. According to tournament rules, Bangladesh advanced to the semi-finals based on their higher international ranking, 10th compared to China's 36th.
