Chris Lawson earns starting role after Washington victory over Washington State

Sophomore receiver Chris Lawson stepped into a starting position for Washington during the Apple Cup after starter Christian Moss sustained a soft tissue injury on the second play of the game. Lawson led all receivers in the contest, recording a career-high 87 yards on four receptions. Washington secured a 24-10 victory over Washington State. Head coach Jedd Fisch confirmed on Monday that Lawson has earned the starting X receiver role for the upcoming schedule.
