Christian Darrisaw named 2026 breakout candidate for Vikings

Summary

CBS Sports has identified Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw as a potential breakout candidate for the 2026 NFL season. Despite having previously broken out in 2021, Darrisaw's inconsistency due to injuries has hindered his career. He has played in only 17 games over the past two seasons after signing a four-year, $113 million extension in July 2024. When healthy, Darrisaw has demonstrated elite talent and significantly improved the Vikings' rushing success rate. The team hopes he can stay healthy and fulfill his potential this coming season.
