Christian Horner faces increased competition from at least seven investors vying for Otro Capital's 24 percent stake in Alpine, as confirmed by Flavio Briatore. "Flavio Briatore has told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera that ‘at least seven investors’ are ready to buy Otro Capital's 24 per cent stake in Alpine, a significant jump from the three or four interested parties he cited as recently as the Chinese Grand Prix in March. The surge in competition could also be bad news for former Red Bull CEO and team principal Christian Horner, with Alpine seen as his best available route back into Formula 1.
