Christian McCaffrey returns to practice for San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey participated in practice on Tuesday, September 1, following concerns regarding muscle tightness. The team is preparing for its upcoming trip to Melbourne, Australia, to participate in the first NFL game held in that country. McCaffrey’s status for Week 1 had previously been in question due to the reported injury. Reports from the practice session indicate that the running back felt improved and was able to work out on the field. The 49ers are among a select group of teams scheduled to play before the league's primary opening day on September 13. His presence at the practice facility provides a positive development for the team's offense ahead of the trip.
