Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker focuses on enhancing communication within the team as they prepare for the upcoming season. During training camp, Parker noted the vocal engagement in defensive meetings, necessary for improving one of the NFL’s worst defenses last season. Players are practicing verbal and non-verbal communication to establish muscle memory ahead of their season opener against the New York Giants on September 13. The first major test of Parker's strategies will be during a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams. Safety Malik Hooker expressed concern about past communication errors that led to defensive breakdowns against the Rams.
