Christian Pulisic benched for USMNT's match against Türkiye

Christian Pulisic will not start for the United States men's national team in their group stage finale against Türkiye on June 26 in Los Angeles. Pulisic has been sidelined since sustaining a left calf injury during the first half of the team's opening match against Paraguay on June 12. Though he participated in training sessions and expressed optimism about his availability, head coach Mauricio Pochettino opted to bench him along with other key players to prevent yellow card suspensions. The U.S. has already secured advancement to the knockout stage following their 2-0 victory over Australia.
