Cincinnati Bengals name receiver Dohnte Meyers to 53-man roster

Wide receivers coach Troy Walters informed Dohnte Meyers via FaceTime that he secured a spot on the Cincinnati Bengals 53-man roster. Meyers joined the team in January 2026 on a reserve/future contract following two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. During the preseason, he recorded 51 receiving yards on three catches against the Philadelphia Eagles and earned praise from quarterback Joe Burrow for his performance throughout training camp. Walters indicated that Meyers will serve a role on both offense and special teams as the team begins its regular season campaign. The wide receiver spent significant time in the coaches' office learning the playbook to earn the promotion.
