Cincinnati Bengals rank seventh in preseason NFL offense rankings

Summary

The Cincinnati Bengals open the 2026 NFL season on September 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ahead of the home opener, Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA TODAY ranked the Cincinnati offense seventh in the league. This placement makes the team the highest-ranked offense within the AFC North, placing them ahead of the Baltimore Ravens at number nine and the Pittsburgh Steelers at number 21. Analysts noted that continuity on the roster and a stable offensive line offer the team a chance to improve upon past slow starts to the season. The Bengals finalized their 53-man roster on August 30, emphasizing depth on both sides of the ball. The unit remains centered around the trio of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins as the team prepares to begin the regular season schedule.
