Cincinnati Reds set record with three standout players under age 25

The Cincinnati Reds have become the first team in Major League Baseball history to feature three players under 25 who have hit specific statistical milestones in the same season. Sal Stewart has reached 30 home runs and 100 runs batted in, while Elly De La Cruz has recorded at least 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases. Pitcher Chase Burns has contributed 15 wins to the team effort. Stewart, age 22, is currently pursuing the franchise rookie home run record, while De La Cruz has now achieved his third consecutive 20-20 season. Burns, 23, holds a 15-3 record with 171 strikeouts across 145.1 innings. The Reds, who hold a 65-72 record following a Sunday night victory over the Cubs, have 25 games remaining in the season.
