City hosts Coventry in Premier League match at Etihad Stadium

City faces newly promoted Coventry at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday at 15:00 UK time. City enters the fixture with two victories from their opening two matches, while Coventry seeks its first Premier League points of the campaign following losses to Arsenal and Hull. Coventry manager Frank Lampard leads his side into the match having added 10 players to the senior squad this summer. The visitors have utilized a 4-2-3-1 formation in their first two league outings but remain one of three sides yet to score in the division. This match represents the first meeting between the two clubs since the 2001/02 season. Despite the scoreless league start, Coventry recorded a 4-2 win against Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
