C.J. Gardner-Johnson leaves practice with injury; MRI scheduled

C.J. Gardner-Johnson, safety for the Bills, exited Saturday's practice on a cart due to a lower right leg injury. The injury occurred without contact, and after a brief field examination, Gardner-Johnson was taken for further evaluation. Bills General Manager Brandon Beane confirmed that the team will await MRI results to determine the extent of the injury. Gardner-Johnson, signed as a free agent this offseason, is expected to play a key role in Buffalo's secondary.
