Clement drives in tiebreaking run as Blue Jays defeat Red Sox 5-3

Ernie Clement provided the tiebreaking run in the sixth inning as the Toronto Blue Jays edged the Boston Red Sox 5-3 on Tuesday night. Toronto was behind 3-1 before responding with four runs in the fifth and eighth innings. Brett Bateman contributed with two RBIs. Though Boston's Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu hit solo homers, the team suffered its fourth straight loss. Chase Lee secured his first win in the majors, while Spencer Miles earned his first career save. The teams will play again as Toronto’s José Soriano faces Boston’s Ranger Suarez on Wednesday.
