Clemson quarterback Christopher Vizzina continues to recover from a left elbow injury sustained against Georgia Southern in Week 2. Coach Dabo Swinney reported that Vizzina, who has been out since the injury, is now out of his elbow brace and experiencing his best week of recovery. Although he is not yet 100%, Vizzina's transition from a larger brace to a sleeve and pad marks significant progress. True freshman Tait Reynolds has taken over as the starter during Vizzina's absence, with Vizzina only able to serve as an emergency option against California. Swinney emphasized the day-to-day nature of Vizzina's recovery and noted that he may still need time to regain full range of motion before returning to the field.
