Clemson Tigers evaluate roster changes for 2026 season under Dabo Swinney

Summary

Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney seeks improvement for the 2026 season after a 7-6 finish in 2025. The team is currently ranked 19th in freshman recruiting and 91st in transfer acquisitions, raising concerns about talent acquisition. With new offensive coordinator Chad Morris rejoining the staff, Clemson is expected to emphasize on-field development. Swinney faces pressure to elevate team performance, particularly in quarterback play, having not reached previous heights since Trevor Lawrence's departure. The upcoming schedule includes matchups against LSU and ACC rivals, with a focus on bolstering the defense through nine new transfers.
