Cleveland Browns face quarterback uncertainty with Watson and Sanders competition

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is in a competition with Shedeur Sanders for the starting position as the team heads into training camp. While Watson can still win the job, analysts express doubts about his ability to retain it throughout the season, especially given his injury history. Watson has struggled since being traded to the Browns in 2022, missing significant playing time due to injuries and showing inconsistent performance on the field. Browns head coach Todd Monken has not yet named a starter, indicating the competition will continue into training camp, providing opportunities for both quarterbacks to demonstrate their capabilities.
