Cleveland Browns guard Zion Johnson returns to game after knee injury

Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Zion Johnson exited the Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a left knee injury. The starting guard sustained the injury while the Browns trailed during the second quarter. After being escorted to the injury tent, Johnson was replaced for one play by Zak Zinter. Johnson subsequently returned to the field for the following possession. The Browns entered the matchup with a reorganized offensive line, with Johnson filling the left guard spot previously held by Joel Bitonio. Cleveland also lost running back Dylan Sampson to a knee injury during the same contest, with officials ruling him out for the remainder of the game. Jacksonville maintained a 24-0 lead late in the second quarter as the Browns struggled to generate offense.
