Cleveland Browns receiver Isaiah Bond remains in concussion protocol

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Isaiah Bond remains sidelined as he progresses through the NFL concussion protocol. The second-year player has not participated in team practice since sustaining a head injury during an August 22 preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. Although he initially cleared an in-game evaluation, he subsequently developed symptoms that necessitated his placement in the league-mandated protocol. Head coach Todd Monken noted earlier this week that Bond was nearing a return, yet his continued absence complicates preparations for the season opener. The Browns are scheduled to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, and the team is evaluating depth options should Bond remain unavailable. If he cannot play, the roster features receivers Jerry Jeudy, KC Concepcion Jr., Denzel Boston, Malachi Corley, and Tylan Wallace to fill the rotation.
