Cleveland Browns sign former Denver Broncos running back Jaleel McLaughlin

The Cleveland Browns added running back Jaleel McLaughlin to their practice squad on September 1, 2026. This move follows his release by the Denver Broncos two days prior. McLaughlin, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2023, recorded 1,142 total yards and six touchdowns during his two seasons in Denver. He fell behind Tyler Badie on the depth chart this summer before the team made the final decision to waive him. In Cleveland, McLaughlin reunites with fullback Michael Burton and joins a running back group that includes Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson. The Denver Broncos set their active roster for the upcoming regular season with J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Jonah Coleman, and Badie.
