Cleveland Browns work out nine players ahead of Week 1 game

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry continued his active approach to roster management by hosting nine free agents for workouts on Monday. The team looks to adjust its personnel before the Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Players invited for workouts included quarterback Connor Bazelak, wide receivers Cam Camper, Quentin Skinner, and EJ Williams Jr., along with tight ends Cody Hardy and Layne Pryor. Defensive line depth was also addressed with workouts for defensive end Nadame Tucker and defensive tackle Zion Wilson. Berry frequently evaluates practice squad and bottom-of-the-roster talent to identify potential upgrades following the conclusion of training camp. The Browns are scheduled to return to the practice field on Wednesday, with the possibility of roster additions emerging on Tuesday.
