Cleveland front office rejects trading Evan Mobley for Giannis Antetokounmpo
Summary

Members of Cleveland's front office oppose any trade of Evan Mobley for Giannis Antetokounmpo, as reported on June 1, 2026. The Cavs view Mobley not only as a key player, having won the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year award but also as a cornerstone for future rebuilding efforts. Mobley's performance and potential have made him a valuable asset for the franchise. This stance suggests Cleveland aims to maintain its current roster rather than pursue high-profile trades.
