Cliftonville maintain eight-point lead over Glentoran in Women's Premiership

Cliftonville Ladies secured a 4-0 victory against Derry City at the Brandywell on Friday night to preserve their eight-point advantage at the top of the Women's Premiership table. Louise McDaniel scored a hat-trick for the leaders after an own goal from Shania McMonagle opened the scoring. Glentoran Women also kept pace with a 4-0 win over Lisburn Ladies at the Bluebell Stadium, with goals from Nadene Caldwell, Demi Vance, Naomi McLaughlin, and Emily Wilson. Elsewhere, Lisburn Rangers recorded a 5-2 win over Linfield, while Crusaders Strikers defeated Larne 3-0 at Seaview. Glentoran is scheduled to host Linfield on Monday 7 September in a rearranged league match.
