CM Punk to appear at Fanatics Fest in New York City next month

CM Punk has been gone from WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania on April 20, even though he said on that show that he was staying ready and not going on vacation. His absence has lasted long enough where the pro wrestling rumor mill did what it does and indicated tension in his relationship with WWE, and even some talk about him patching things up with AEW. Other reports pushed back on this talk, but the juiciest stories often have more lasting power. Well, I think we can put an end to all that talk after WWE’s announcement during tonight’s (June 12) episode of SmackDown that Punk is heading to New York City at the Javits Center for Fanatics Fest on Sunday, July 19.
