Coldwater defeats Pleasant 3-1 in regional volleyball championship

Coldwater ended Pleasant's undefeated season with a 3-1 victory in the Division V regional championship match held on November 7 at Ontario High School. After losing the first set 25-20, Pleasant responded with a dominant 25-13 win in the second set. However, Coldwater edged out Pleasant in the remaining sets, winning 25-21 and 29-27. This defeat concludes Pleasant's impressive run of four straight district championships, along with two regional titles and participation in the state finals. Coldwater (23-4) will advance to face Meadowbrook in the next round on November 13 at Wittenberg University.
