Colin McKendry has been elected as the new president of the Irish Football Association, winning against Neil Jardine by 24 votes to 16. McKendry previously served as chairman of the Irish Premiership club Coleraine, where he completed a 16-year tenure on the board. He replaces Conrad Kirkwood, who held the presidency for five years.
