College football player Marvin Antoine fatally stabbed near Rhode Island nightclub

Marvin Antoine, an 18-year-old freshman running back at UMass Dartmouth, was fatally stabbed in the early hours of September 19 following an altercation outside a nightclub in Rhode Island. The incident began while waiting in line and escalated to a confrontation in a nearby Wendy's parking lot. Antoine was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Teammate Kensley Macean also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A fellow student, Chukuwnonso Uzoma-eze, has been arrested and charged with murder. UMass Dartmouth is mourning the loss, expressing condolences to Antoine's family and wishing Macean a swift recovery.
