College GameDay features Bayou Militia flyover at LSU

College GameDay celebrated its 500th episode on Saturday morning while stationed on the campus of LSU. The program kicked off with a performance by Lainey Wilson before a flyover from the Louisiana Air National Guard took place over the set. The unit, known as the Bayou Militia, piloted four F-15 Eagles directly over the analysts and guests. On-air talent including Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and Kirk Herbstreit observed the stunt as the opening segment of the broadcast. The event marked the start of the program's coverage for the first full Saturday of the college football season.
