Collin Morikawa surges to tie for lead at Travelers Championship

Collin Morikawa shot a 9-under-par 61 to join the top of the leaderboard at 20-under during the Travelers Championship in Cromwell. However, play was interrupted for 80 minutes due to weather conditions as leaders Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland remained tied at 21-under. Morikawa's performance followed a deficit of nine shots heading into the final round. He will finish in third place and take home $1.38 million regardless of the playoff outcome. Nicolai Højgaard recorded an impressive 8-under-par 62, moving to 14-under for the tournament, while Ben James finished at 4-under in a tie for 62nd place after struggling in the final round.
