Colombia returns to Hard Rock Stadium for match against Portugal

Summary

Colombia's soccer team plays Portugal on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium, marking their return after a chaotic Copa America final in July 2024. This event prompted enhanced security measures including multiple checkpoints, following incidents where ticketless fans breached gates. Organizers hope to showcase a safer environment for attendees, with a significant police presence expected. Local support remains high, particularly given the appeal of Portugal's star player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Ticket demand is strong, with resale prices ranging from $3,000 to over $5,000.
