Colon and Mendon athletes secure all-state honors at MHSAA finals

At the Division 4 MHSAA state finals in Hudsonville, Colon and Mendon athletes achieved notable success. Jabari Falls of Colon claimed second place in the discus with a throw of 159 feet, 6 inches, setting a new school record. The Mendon relay teams also impressed, with the mile relay team finishing fifth and the two-mile relay team achieving all-state times. In individual events, Falls placed 15th in the shot put, while Dalton Williams finished 20th in the 400 run. Overall, Colon tied for 28th and Mendon tied for 40th in team scoring amid fierce competition from other schools.
