Colorado and Georgia Tech prepare for 2026 season opener in Atlanta

The Colorado Buffaloes travel to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this Thursday for their 2026 season opener. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT, with the game broadcast on ESPN and available for streaming on the ESPN app and Fubo. This matchup follows a previous meeting last year where Georgia Tech secured a victory in Boulder. The Buffaloes enter the game with a significantly overhauled roster, featuring over 40 new transfers and a revamped coaching staff under offensive coordinator Brennan Marion. With a defense potentially fielding 11 new starters, the program aims for a successful start to the season to improve upon last year's performance. Matt Barrie will provide play-by-play commentary, joined by Chase Daniel on color analysis and Paul Carcaterra on the sidelines.
