Colorado football adds safety Samari Howard from Florida

Samari Howard, a three-star safety from Fort Lauderdale's St. Thomas Aquinas, has committed to Colorado. His decision followed an official visit to Boulder over the weekend. Colorado's head coach Deion Sanders has been successfully recruiting in Florida, with Howard marking the fourth Florida prospect to commit to the Buffs in the 2027 class. Other recruits include offensive tackle Zaquan Linton and running back Steven Alexis, both of whom also made commitments this weekend.
