Coloradoan names five nominees for Fort Collins-area boys athlete of the week

The Coloradoan and Blue Federal Credit Union have opened voting for the Fort Collins-area boys athlete of the week, covering performances between August 31 and September 5. The five nominees include Windsor Charter Academy golfer Braylon Ball, who shot a 7-under-par 65 to win the Frontier Invite, and Fort Collins tennis player Kincade Crow, who led his team to two 7-0 dual sweeps. Other nominees include Rocky Mountain soccer player Landen Ferraro, who scored twice in his home debut, Fort Collins cross-country runner Will Johns, who set a personal record at the Liberty Bell Invitational, and Timnath golfer Greysen Kilburn, who secured his second individual title of the season. Fans can cast votes at coloradoan.com/sports through noon on September 10. The winner will be announced after the poll closes.
