Colton Nussmeier lost his appeal for eligibility at Denton Ryan, ruled by a 4-1 vote from the UIL State Executive committee on July 9. The appeal follows a previous decision that he transferred for athletic reasons. Nussmeier will still be eligible to play at Flower Mound Marcus. He recently committed to the Georgia Bulldogs and had competed in the Elite 11 Finals this summer. This ruling follows a similar ineligibility ruling for John Meredith, a five-star cornerback.
