Colts' Anthony Richardson supports teammates amid QB competition

Anthony Richardson expressed his support for teammate Riley Leonard while competing for the Indianapolis Colts' backup quarterback position after the preseason finale loss to the Detroit Lions. Richardson completed 21 of 33 passes for 249 yards this preseason, while Leonard went 20 of 42 for 199 yards. In the last game against the Lions, Richardson completed 7 of 10 passes for 80 yards, whereas Leonard finished 3 of 7 for 48 yards with an interception. The Colts may retain both players along with starter Daniel Jones on their final roster, as the decision waits for head coach Shane Steichen.
