Colts evaluate cornerback Jaylon Jones ahead of training camp
Summary

The Indianapolis Colts are reviewing their 90-man roster as they prepare for training camp. Cornerback Jaylon Jones, selected in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft, faces uncertainty regarding his roster spot for 2026 after a limited role in the previous season. Jones played only two games as a starter in 2025, contributing primarily on special teams after suffering an early-season injury. Competing for a position in the secondary, Jones is up against players like Mekhi Blackmon and Cam Taylor-Britt among others. The decision on final roster spots is imminent.
