Colts face challenges in wide receiver market as options dwindle

Summary

The free agent wide receiver market continues to decline for the Indianapolis Colts as key players are signed by other teams. Recently, the San Francisco 49ers secured Deebo Samuel, and the Washington Commanders added Stefon Diggs to their roster on a one-year deal. Currently, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs lead the Colts' receiving corps, but depth remains uncertain. After the fifth training camp practice, questions about the WR3 position persist, with Ashton Dulin and Laquon Treadwell taking the majority of first-team reps. Colts GM Chris Ballard mentioned considering a veteran addition, with Keenan Allen now seen as a potential target.
