Colts face key questions at running back and quarterback positions ahead of minicamp

The Indianapolis Colts will hold mandatory minicamp from June 9-11, a critical period leading to training camp. As the team prepares, a significant focus will be on identifying the backup running back behind Jonathan Taylor and resolving the backup quarterback competition between Anthony Richardson and Riley Leonard. DJ Giddens and rookie Seth McGowan are in contention for the backup role, with their ability to contribute in various aspects, including special teams and pass protection, being crucial. The Colts are also closely monitoring Richardson and Leonard, who will split reps during practice while the starting quarterback remains sidelined.
