Colts kicker Spencer Shrader faces competition ahead of training camp

Spencer Shrader, a kicker for the Indianapolis Colts, is in a competition for the kicking job as training camp approaches. After suffering a season-ending ACL injury early in the 2025 season, Shrader completed the previous year with a record of 13-of-14 on field goals and 14-for-14 on extra points. Blake Grupe, who joined the Colts late in the season and performed flawlessly on field goals and extra points, re-signed with the team this offseason. While minicamp will not solely determine the competition, Grupe may have an early advantage heading into training camp.
