Colts linebacker CJ Allen to wear green dot in Week 9 against Cowboys

Colts rookie linebacker CJ Allen will wear the green dot in Week 9 during a home game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lucas Oil Stadium. This decision follows the injury to veteran linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither, who has been ruled out with a knee injury. Allen, selected by the Colts in the NFL draft, is set to fulfill a significant role on the team after a slow start to the season, which included limited playing time early on. With this assignment, Allen aims to establish himself as a key contributor in the defense after a notable performance last week against Jacksonville, where he led the team in tackles and registered his first sack.
