The Indianapolis Colts plan to start Anthony Richardson at quarterback in their preseason opener against New England on Thursday. Riley Leonard will take over in the second half. In the home preseason game against Atlanta next week, Leonard is set to start and play the first half, with Richardson coming in after. Daniel Jones will not participate in the first two preseason games as the Colts aim to avoid any risk of injury, especially following his recovery from a torn right Achilles tendon.
