Colts propose trade for JJ McCarthy involving Anthony Richardson

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly interested in acquiring quarterback JJ McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings. The potential trade would see the Colts send Anthony Richardson in exchange for McCarthy, who has not yet met expectations as a former first-round pick. Daniel Jones is currently the Colts' starting quarterback but is recovering from an Achilles injury, leading to speculation about the team's depth at the position. Head coach Shane Steichen indicated that the backup quarterback role is not yet secured, increasing the urgency for a possible trade as the season approaches.
