Colts coach Shane Steichen updated the status of key players during a press conference on June 9. DeForest Buckner and Alec Pierce will not participate in on-field activities during mini-camp but are aiming to return by the start of training camp. Buckner, recovering from surgery for a herniated disk, is in the process of getting back to full fitness. Starting quarterback Daniel Jones will continue limited participation but will be held back from full 11-on-11 drills. Offensive tackle Jalen Travis is expected to resume individual drills this week after a back injury sidelined him during OTAs.
