Colts sign cornerback Elijah Culp to practice squad

The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of cornerback Elijah Culp to their practice squad on September 29, 2026. Culp, undrafted this past April, previously spent training camp with the Arizona Cardinals. He played at James Madison and has also been with Charlotte, Troy, and Austin Peay. Over his college career, he participated in 53 games, recording one interception and five pass breakups while allowing a 50% completion rate against him. The Colts made this addition after promoting Anthony Gould to the 53-man roster, creating an available spot on the practice unit.
